M:I-2
Boy was this ever dumb! They tried to make it just like James Bound and the Matrix (two sets of
movies I have nothing against.) But unlike those movies instead of coming of entertaining it stunk!
They blew up most of the good guys at least seven times! I liked Mission: Impossible 1 it was
directed by Brain Depalma whom did a good job making it like the T.V. show with only a few
explosion in the film and only and the beginning and the end making them mean something. In that one
Tom Cruise's character never kills any one except the bad guys in the helicopter and the bad
guys at the restaurant. Any enough about way the first one was good and back to way Mission:
Impossible 2 stinks. First Paramount said Mission: Impossible 2 was not title that and actually called
M:I-2. Then they put Mission: Impossible II with Roman numerals! in the title at the beginning of the
film. But anyway what ever the heck the movie was called it still was awful. here is way: Unlike De
Palma's good movie were as I said very little to no meaningless violence. M:I-2 was all meaningless
violence! literally every 5 min some one was shoot or killed or there neck broken or shoved in a
suit case or pecked to death by Pigeons! There was so much gratuitous violence as the movie went a long then
deaths began to mean nothing. About half way through the car crash of a film there is a scene that
John Woo (the director who should be dragged in to the street and shot the way the film turned out)
copied almost straight form the Black Vault in the first movie only this one had very bad camera shots.
Well any way in this scene Tom must kill some bad viruses that the bad guys are going to unleash. So
he does it calmly not by doing some technical stuff like they would have in the other movie but by
planting a bomb that will go off in five minuets! Good Idea Tom that's a way to not wake up the
guards. That was the other thing. Nothing ever went right at all ever the movie! Will Tom is
blowing up some other viruses the bad guys come in. So in a display of meaningless violence he gets
up and Shoots. ducks down and hide then runs with two guns blazing to another place to hide. He
repeats these steps until.
1. the lab is destroyed, and
2. all 45 million of the infinitive stream of guards have been mowed down by him doing that some run
sideways and shoot two guns move about 45 million times.
after both these happen he right a way has to go climb a cliff. HE CLIMBS EVER
MONGOOSING CLIFF IN THE WHOLE WORLD IN THIS FILM. Ever time I looked back
form eating by Sour Patches. He was climbing a different Cliff. IN a different country! Any way back
to the last cliff. He climbs that one and then goes threw the following routine of guard womping: He goes
threw a door (first he must blow the door up.) then there is a guard. To get past the guard he does the following all at same time and in slow motion (of course the whole dang film is in slow motion. If the film would only be 20 minuets long shown at normal speed.)
Fist breaks the guards neck, wile doing that he shoots him and punches
him. And all this with out messing up his stupid long hair cut or his cap falling for. the last 27 times he
does this to guards there is first a flutter of some pigeons who symbolize he is going to blow the gaurd
up as well as kill him. Which he does. Then at what should have been the end but was not he blows
up a door leading to the scottish Head Bad guy's chamber and before our friend Tommy can enter a
DOVE flies through the flame. It took me a wile to figure this out but I think the dove symbolizes how much the movie stinks. After this Tom
Blows up 3 cars. and then finally gets to kill the bad guy. This scene takes about 2 hours! And it is
just Tom and the bad guy lying in the sad beating each over head with stuff. The scene would have
worked better if the two were drunk and they were in a bar because the would be the only reason I
could see that would explain way it took so long. Ever time you think he is going to kill the bad guy
the bad guy starts walking away! The scene as far as I can tell never ends! I got up and left half way
through but assume that last scene is still going on now.
