Golf
I love golf I feel very at home on the golf course.
I tried living in a sand trap for a wile but the grounds
keeper did not buy that I was a very large talking gain of sand.
One of the first times I went golfing was with my very
good friends the Odmarks. We were only able to rent 1 cart and
we could fit all four bags but two of us were going to have to walk.
I volunteered. The game started out normally Jake, Josh, and there
dad hit great shots which went near the green. Mine went as it always
does, five feet and then hit a tree. I would then go find the bill in
the tree and go back to the cart to get the club I needed for the shot
(it was usually a tree wood.) I went on playing this way in a normal
golfing fashion until I realized I was not wearing socks.
Not only was I now wearing socks I had just the pads in my shoe
had just broken the day before and I had the take them out so I was now
walking around on the sowed rubber stuff that keeps the shoes together.
This was becoming very uncomfortable. So being the resourceful guy that
I am I took my shoes off.
Then I went up to hit my drive for the next hole and when I
got up the tee and hit the Ball! IT WENT..........
Five feet as usual. Then after I got up to the ball and hit it again
something came over me. I put my driver in the air and let out a battle
cry. I ran toward the with the speed of privative jungle hunting man
chasing it's pry. I continued doing golfing this way running after the
ball screaming until I finished the hole.
I started the next hole the same way running like I was either
in a fox hunt or my pants were on fire. A little ways down the fairway
Jake saw me running toward him with my Club raised in the air running
bare footed and screaming "WONG-A-DOO!" (or something inane like that).
Jake said "There goes Tarzan."
With that I invented Tarzan Golf. I still play it today with
the same rules or lack of rules. Using my driver for every shot.
The Driver much versatile club then for what people usally use it for
(driving). It can also be used for be used for chipping, putting, and
killing the wild boar for the Post-hunt- Feast.
